Bercelona star, Lionel Messi has emerged the world’s best player for an unprecedented fourth year running, for his remarkable 91 goals in 2012, beating his top contenders; Cristiano Ronaldo and Barcelona teammate Andres Iniesta to clinch the most prestigious round leather award. 

The 25-year-old player was announced the FIFA Ballon d’Or at a gala-show in Zurich, Switzerland on Monday night. Congrats.
